Teacher’s Day. China celebrated Teacher's Day on September 10th, and Hanova joined the appreciation of our teachers and staff by making it a Jeans Day, serving up some cake, and lots of thank you pictures and videos with teachers, students, and our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) committee. We thank you, teachers and staff, for all your hard work, passion, and dedication you bring to Hanova each and every day. Whether it’s inspiring students in class time, or your efforts beyond the classroom, shaping the future with every lesson you teach and every challenge you help our students to overcome. Thank you for making Hanova a place of learning, kindness, and growth. Wishing you a joyful and meaningful school year ahead!
Extra-Curricular Activities. At Hanova, our Extra-Curricular Activities program (ECA) is a hallmark of our commitment to providing a well-rounded education that extends beyond the classroom. Led by teachers, students, and even parent volunteers, our ECAs allow our community to teach and learn along their passions and interests, in line with the choice and voice our IB education promotes.
We offer a wide range of ECAs around five broad areas: Academics, Culture, Creativity, Service, and Sports/Wellbeing. ECAs are designed to foster inquiry, teamwork, time management, collaboration, communication skills, and leadership.
From a year-round double-elimination chess tournament to math and athletic competitions to performances to debates and more, our ECAs provide much for students to look forward to this school year.
