This year’s Christmas market is a celebration for our community that kicks off the festive season. From the twinkling lights to the mouth watering aromas of seasonal treats, the Christmas market brought together students, parents, staff and members of the wider community for an unforgettable experience of the season.

Winter concert kicked off on a crisp December morning and ran through 11:15 AM, offering a wide range of performances from students in different age groups to our dedicated teachers and staff. Then, our campus was transformed into a winter wonderland, with over 40 festive stalls brimming with handmade crafts, holiday decoration, and unique gifts.

One of the highlights of the market was the wide array of seasonal food and drink. Stalls lined with savory and sweet offerings tempted visitors to indulge in holiday favorites and international feast, including warm mulled wine, sausages, fresh fruit, organic juice, bakery, Vietnamese spring rolls and baguette, pizza and burger, malatang. The smells of these delicious treats filled with the air, inviting others to stop, savor, and celebrate the season.

Local artisans and vendors displayed everything from handcrafted jewelry, holiday plants, Christmas ornaments and accessories. Our HPTA members also provided some Hanova branded Teddy Bear, Hoodie, T-shirts and cup coasters. Our teachers and staff also provided arts and crafts activities like face painting, small Christmas tree decoration, Christmas themed painting and Gingerbread crafts, providing the perfect spot for our community to find something special for everyone on their list.

The Christmas market wasn't just about fun-it was also about giving back. At our student booths, in partnership with Chunshan Education and Warrior Warehouse, our community and students sold handcrafted items, donated second-handed material and the proceeds to charitable causes. This year, we raised 7,200 RMB for Chunshan Education and countless items for Warrior Warehouse.
