A Winter Concert to Remember! - written by Mr Ferdinand Els. The Winter Concert 2025 was a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and festive spirit that brought the Hanova community together for a joyful morning of performance.
The concert opened with Curtain Call Chaos, a lively drama skit that set the tone with sharp timing, humour, and confidence. The Hanova Orchestra followed, delivering a rich performance, demonstrating impressive musical growth and ensemble awareness. Next, the staff performed a synchronised swimming routine — a surprise that brought laughter, cheers, and a strong sense of shared community.
The MYP Band then dazzled the stage with an energetic rendition of Counting Stars, filling the space with rhythm and momentum, while Tommy’s expressive piano performance of Moonlight Sonata offered a moment of calm and emotional depth.
Vocal performances added warmth and charm to the program. The PYP Choir delighted the audience with three winter songs full of enthusiasm and holiday spirit, while Cris and Eaindra’s duet Snowman brought a heartfelt close to the musical performances.
The concert concluded with PYP’s theatrical finale, How the Grinch Tried to Steal the Winter Concert, a playful and energetic ending that captured the imagination and festive fun of the season.
A heartfelt thank you goes to our students, teachers, staff, parent volunteers, and School Board for their dedication and support. Special thanks to our parent volunteers for transforming the space into the magical “Hano-ville.” The Winter Concert was a true reflection of the warmth, creativity, and togetherness that define the Hanova community.
