University & Careers Counseling
Providing student-centered counselling throughout all years of secondary school.
We are dedicated to guiding our students toward their future
Secondary students at Hanova are provided university and career counselling along their learning path to graduation. The goal of the university and careers counseling work is to help Hanova students through the university selection and application process. Recognizing that each student has unique academic, social and athletic interests, abilities and needs, it is important to recommend universities that qualify as good matches. By meeting individually with students and their parents, our staff helps them select the Universities around the world that will best prepare our students to fulfill their academic potential.
Our University and Careers Counselor (UCC) meets individually with students and their parents to help them build a list of universities that is well-balanced and appropriate. As a member of the Overseas Association for College Admission Counseling (OACAC), she provides support for all our students, with personalized advice related to universities. She aims to help students and families join the best universities, with realistic aspirations and wise choices to achieve the students’ career goals. Ms. Zhu also organises in-school activities such as suggestion of activities to prepare university applications, interviews for students about their interests in universities and future careers, meetings with admission officers. Meanwhile, she is responsible for arranging and coordinating University visits to the Hanova campus. Please contact Ms Zhu at sharon.zhu@his-xian.com for any inquiries.
