City Wall Marathon. On Saturday 7^th November a large Hanova team participated to the Xi’an International Wall Marathon, a community event that is becoming a tradition for the whole city. Our year 12 students organized the school presence, with more than 90 names registered. Most participants came to the event, to run or walk the 5 km, despite the rainy and cold weather. Many thanks for the perfect logistics to all students, teachers and staff involved, and to all participants for the enthusiasm shown.

PYP Inter-House Quiz. Thank you to all teachers involved with the PYP Inter-House Quiz that was held on Friday. It was a good activity with excellent discussion amongst the 3 year groups involved. The results for the quiz were: First Place: Han; Second Place: Tang; equal Third Place: Qin and Song.

MYP Professional Development Days. On 5^th - 6^th November the Secondary School has organized an interactive and collaborative 2-day workshop entitled “Approaches to Learning in MYP and DP” facilitated by Mr. Kevin Larkin – an official IB Workshop Leader and former IB Diploma teacher at ACS Hillingdon International School in England.
