Secondary performances in Art Assembly

Dear Parents and friends

Secondary performances in Art Assembly - written by Ms Krystal Jiang, MYP Music Teacher. On November 18, the students completed the art assembly this semester, which featured some music performances by the students in years 7, 10 and 11 music.

This term year 7 focused on guitar learning and ensemble practice, they learned song structure and how to analyze a song based on this.  Even though the online class affected our practice, they still tried their best to finish their debut show in MYP.   Yr10 music students developed their analytical skills and technical skills through the units about recital performance.   In the first unit of this semester, the year 11 music students explored western classical music in three periods, with emphasis on the features of baroque music and defining the connection with jazz music.

Congratulations to the performers on a successful performance, and in the meantime for the success of the performance, we also want to thank the people behind the stage-arts assembly crew. Their work ensured the smooth running of the show. Let's look forward to the Art assembly next semester.
