On 14-18th May, Hanova’s secondary students traveled to Chengdu, China. During the five day trip, they had the opportunity to experience Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC) at a Panda Reserve outside the city. Our students spent two days volunteering at the Reserve – cleaning the Panda pens, feeding and caring for the pandas and learning how to prepare healthy panda treats. The trip also included great Chinese food, an evening visit to the Chengdu opera, a day of mountain hiking and plenty of lifelong memories with friends!
