On the 26th of November, in the afternoon, Hanova’s Secondary students and staff celebrated its first Arts Assembly in the Academic year of 2021-22 – and the first to be performed at our new campus!
The Assembly began with an official Opening Ceremony in the Auditorium where Mr. Rodriguez was welcomed to the stage to cut a ceremonial ribbon. This was a great opportunity to showcase not only the extraordinary talents of our students, but also to experience the outstanding new facilities of our school.
Following the opening ceremony, we were gifted with an hour and a half of entertainment from the Music, Arts, and Drama departments. This included 9 monologues, solo pianists, music bands, music technology compositions and a short skit by the Year 8’s extra English group. The Assembly was run entirely by our Secondary students who hosted the event, performed wonderfully and managed the sound, lights and stage!
The Assembly was well attended by all our Secondary students along with many of our parents and we want to thank all who participated in the event!
