Wednesday May 11th saw the first Primary School Sports Day to be held at our new campus. There was red, yellow, blue and green all around the track and the field along with huge smiles and great energy!
The children competed in events such as 50/60m sprints, long jump, high jump, shot put, javelin, basketball, dodgeball, football and tug o’war. Each event was worth points that went towards Primary Sports Day house shield and PYP Male and Female Athlete of the Year. There was some great competition, and examples of great sportsmanship throughout the day.
At the end of a long day of competition it was Tang house who were the Sports Day champions of 2022.
The PYP Male Athletes of the Year were Abraham Smith and James Choi, while Anna Liu was the PYP Female Athlete of the Year.
